Art Evans: In 2007 at the Canadian Shuffleboard Championships held in Edmonton, Alberta - one of SSA's founding members - Art Evans was inducted into CSC's Hall of Fame. Pictures
Player Profile George Wasyliw George was elected as President of the Saskatchewan Shuffleboard Association in 1980 and remained on the executive until 1985. In 1985 George successfully ran for President of the Canadian Shuffleboard Congress.
Player Profile Kent Conn The Fall of 1969, Kent Conn, Art Evans and Al Cooper formed the SSA and the RDSL. Kent became the first President of SSA and along with his duties as President of SSA Kent was also 1st Vice President of Canadian Congress from 1970-1977.
Player Profile Gayle “Ireton” Conn Gayle would work tirelessly behind the scenes. Everything was a new experience, along with improving her skills, she was learning the rules, helping out at tournaments, scorekeeping and promoting the game along with Kent, Art, Eleanore, Al & Gino.
